This week, there's a brand new free LUT available on cinecolor.io - Classic Noir.
Classic Noir is designed to replicate the look of high-con / black and white motion picture film by punching up contrast throughout and subtly rolling off shadows and highlights. Deep blacks and bright whites create a vivid impressionistic look, perfect for any stylized monochromatic production.
For best results, apply the LUT to well balanced footage that is neutrally exposed. It will push the contrast significantly, so footage that is already over or under exposed should first be corrected before applying the LUT.
As always, the new LUT is available in both .cube and .xmp format for use in all major color, video and photo editing platforms.
