This is a custom conversion LUT that will translate Slog 3 footage from Sony cameras to Rec 709. The LUT will work with any of the following mirrorless / cinema cameras:

  • Sony A7S III
  • Sony A7S II
  • Sony A7 III
  • Sony A7R III
  • Sony FS5
  • Sony FS7
  • Sony FX3
  • Sony FX6
  • Sony FX9

The LUT is designed to be used as alternative to Sony's native LUT, which is known for producing unnatural skintones and causing problematic color shifts. The CINECOLOR S-Log 3 LUT eliminates these issues with a modified color balance that favors a more neutral starting point.

Includes 1 LUT in .cube format.

Solid LUT

Many LUTs I have tried in my post have not given me the look I was looking for but I am impressed with the CINECOLOR S-LOG 3 LUT. I am glad I gave it a try!

Looks great, leans a bit more neutral than Sony's

I thought this LUT was great, it looks more neutral than Sony's SLog3-Rec.709 LUT. It worked great as a show LUT for me at corporate shoots. Seems to correspond well with the false color on my monitor and I feel confident exposing with it by eye. Not what I would use to grade but perfect for neutral out-of-camera results that'll leave plenty of headroom in post.

Really simple to use!

Applied directly to the footage and didn’t even need to edit it further. Highly recommend these LUTs.

Everytime it saves me

Nothing more to say if we read the title. I don't find another "SLOG 3 to REC 709" Lut better than this one.
