This is a custom conversion LUT that will translate Slog 3 footage from Sony cameras to Rec 709. The LUT will work with any of the following mirrorless / cinema cameras:

  • Sony A7S III
  • Sony A7S II
  • Sony A7 III
  • Sony A7R III
  • Sony FS5
  • Sony FS7
  • Sony FX3
  • Sony FX6
  • Sony FX9

The LUT is designed to be used as alternative to Sony's native LUT, which is known for producing unnatural skintones and causing problematic color shifts. The CINECOLOR S-Log 3 LUT eliminates these issues with a modified color balance that favors a more neutral starting point.

Includes 1 LUT in .cube format.

Great LUT for Sony S-Log3

Really impressed with this LUT. I used it on footage from my Sony FX3 and A7S III, and it instantly gave me a clean, cinematic look. Skin tones look super natural, the contrast is just right, and it saved me a ton of time in post.

It's great as a base grade or even a final look if you're in a hurry. Definitely one of the better S-Log3 LUTs I’ve tried — highly recommend for anyone shooting Sony log.

Sony S-Log3 Lut

Having a great baseline LUT for your clients to see what their video will look like is always key on set. I was looking for a nice LUT to do a sample with to show my client and they loved it. For color correcting, I like to use this LUT as a baseline image and manipulate the levels after. Awesome LUT!
