What can I say! It feels like cheating, I put it on in different degrees and it tends to put it on a level field!

A balanced start

Color EQ works really well to tame harshness and provide a balanced starting point for your grade. It needs to be dialled in based on the footage you're working with - sometime just a little, sometimes a bit more, but I've found it to be a really helpful tool to get quickly my grade pointing in the right direction.
